Everything here has shipped and is live. Anything still to come is on the
[roadmap](/roadmap) — the two are kept apart on purpose, so a plan is never
mistaken for a promise.

## August 2026

<Milestones>

<Milestone when="8 August" title="Showcase gallery" icon="shaadi-card">

A public [gallery](/showcase) of real invitations, shared only with their hosts'
explicit permission.

Consent is a single unticked checkbox in the builder, and ticking it only makes
an invitation *eligible* — we still review before anything appears. What gets
published is never your live invitation: it is a separate copy with the venue
address reduced to a city, and phone numbers, gift and payment details, and your
entire guest list removed. First-names-only is on by default. Withdraw at any
time and the copy is deleted immediately, not queued for later.

Planners, printers and studios can now [apply](/signup?as=agent) to build
invitations for their clients.

Each partner gets a referral code, a dashboard covering every invitation they
manage, and a commission ledger that updates the moment a client pays.
Applications are reviewed by hand — a partner cannot touch a client's
invitation until they are approved.

Amantrika is no longer wedding-only. Engagements, receptions, anniversaries,
birthdays, baby showers, naming ceremonies, housewarmings, graduations and
corporate events each get their own ceremony presets and vocabulary.

The builder reshapes itself around what you are celebrating — a birthday asks
about one celebrant, not two partners.

<Milestone when="7 August" title="Your own photographs" icon="CraftedByHand">

Upload your own photographs instead of placeholders. They are stored securely,
delivered from a global CDN, and framed automatically in your theme's arch,
scallop or polaroid style.

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF up to 25 MB each. Uploads go straight from your
browser to storage, and only you — and your partner agent, if you have one — can
add or remove them.

Invitations now live in a proper account rather than in one browser.

Sign in to see total views, unique visitors and a fourteen-day trend for each
invitation, alongside RSVPs, headcounts and meal preferences as they arrive.
Import your whole guest list at once and copy a personalised link per guest.

Blessings can be moderated before they appear, and the RSVP form and blessing
wall can each be switched off entirely.

## A note on privacy

Two decisions from this month are worth stating plainly, because they are the
kind that are easy to get wrong quietly.

<Callout type="note" title="Your guests are not our data">

Guest names, phone numbers, RSVP messages and blessings stay in your
invitation's own records. They are never sent to any analytics service.

We count how many people opened an invitation using a salted hash of the
visitor's device that is regenerated daily — enough to tell you fifty people
looked rather than five, and not enough to follow anyone from one day to the
next.

</Callout>

<Callout type="note" title="The showcase never links to your invitation">

A featured invitation is always a sanitised copy at its own address. Nothing in
the gallery links back to a family's real invitation, and the copy carries no
RSVP form or blessing wall — a sample must not collect anybody's details.

## Frequently asked questions

### How often does Amantrika change?

Continuously, but this page only records changes worth your attention: new capabilities, changed behaviour, and fixes for anything that affected a live invitation. Internal refactors are not listed.

### Will an update ever change my published invitation?

Not its content. Your words, dates, photographs and link are yours and are never edited by us. Improvements to layout or performance apply automatically, and anything that would visibly change a published invitation is listed here.

### Where can I see what is coming next?

On the roadmap. It is kept deliberately separate from this page so that nothing planned is ever mistaken for something that already works.
